In Patient Unit

The unit is led by a team of experienced and qualified nursing staff with daily clinical support from a Palliative Care Consultant, local GPs and an Occupational Therapist.

Our unit provides a homely, dignified and safe environment for patients to be cared for and the team members create an atmosphere of warmth and compassion. 

Our health professional team are able to offer people with cancer and life limiting disease, 24 hour individualised care. Patient care is focused on being supportive with all aspects of activities of living and symptom management of debilitating ailments such as pain, nausea, breathlessness, emotional/ psychological distress . 

We work with patients and community health care professionals to enable safe and supportive discharge following care to achieve further quality of life.

The In Patient Unit is also able to offer care for those at End of Life, care in a calm and dignified manner with a provision of care and support for relatives/ carers during this time.

Our newly refurbished eight en-suite bedrooms now provide comfort and privacy to those who are admitted to our care. The rooms are all equipped with high tech multi-positional beds, air conditioning, TV and telephone and patio doors open onto the landscaped gardens which hosts an abundance of wildlife. The relative’s comfort and overnight room is also a welcome addition to our space.
