Bubble Design Raises £450+ from Bake Sale for Bassetlaw Hospice
On Thursday 26th March, the team at Bubble Design organised a charity bake sale in aid of the work carried out at Bassetlaw Hospice, bringing people together to raise vital funds that help us continue supporting patients and families across our community.
A brilliant team effort
The bake sale was a wonderful example of teamwork, with Bubble’s staff contributing a wide variety of homemade sweet and savoury treats. From cakes and brownies to pastries and savoury bakes, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
Events like these not only raise funds but also help spread awareness of the care and support provided every day.
Community support in action
Many local businesses also came along to show their support, dropping in throughout the afternoon to enjoy the bakes and make donations.
An incredible result
Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, the bake sale raised over £450 in support of Bassetlaw Hospice.
Funds raised through events like this go directly towards providing vital services for people living with life-limiting illnesses, as well as offering support to their families during incredibly difficult times.
Looking ahead
Bassetlaw Hospice is Bubble’s charity partner for 2026 and this bake sale marks the beginning of what promises to be a fantastic programme of fundraising activities and initiatives.

Our Volunteer Chaplain, David, has been licensed to deliver chaplaincy service within the hospice. We are pleased to hear of this formal recognition through the ministry and we are pleased to share a clear job role agreed for chaplain services

We have a team climbing Ben Nevis on Sunday13th September 2026 to raise vital funds for our newly independent Bassetlaw Hospice! including our very own CEO, Bonney.
Sunday will bring the 1350m of ascent & descent of Ben Nevis itself, approx. 5 hours for the ascent and 3 to 4 for the descent. All under expert guidance. Returning to the Hospice after your epic climb!
