This year we are taking on the Yorkshire’s High and Low Challenge.
On Sunday 1st October 2023
Standing high in the clouds at 723m (2,372ft) Ingleborough throws out a ridge to the north-east which develops into a summit, Simon Fell and another summit further down, Park Fell. However, it also contains many hidden and wonderful secrets…. underground!!!
On this 1 day challenge, we climb to the top of Ingleborough and then descend by negotiating one of its best "The Long Churn Caves" with its sparkling stream ways and waterfalls.
We are looking for members of the community to join us and help raise vital funds for the hospice! Bonney, our Charity Operations Manager, will be taking part. This year we have 20 places available.
Please note, it is a climb, not a walk, and so you need to be reasonably fit in order to take part. If you can go walking for a day, climb stairs or complete a park run in 30 minutes then this challenge is for you!
There is a £50 registration fee once your place is confirmed.
Each participant will have a £250 minimum fundraising target to reach.
